What happens if more boats sign up than my plan allows?
Kwindoo never blocks sailors mid-regatta. You can keep accepting registrations. When the regatta finalizes, the overflow boats are billed at €5 per extra boat per day — drawn first from any credit balance on your account, then invoiced separately if there's a shortfall. The €5 rate matches a single-boat Flex Local entry, so there's no penalty markup.
How long is the free trial, and can I cancel anytime?
Every paid plan starts with a 30-day free trial. Checkout collects card details via Stripe (so billing continues automatically after the trial), but nothing is charged during the trial. You can cancel from your billing dashboard at any time during or after the trial — if you cancel mid-cycle on Club Pass, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period; there is no early-termination fee.
Do you give EU VAT invoices? German Rechnung? Italian Fattura SDI?
Yes — every paid plan generates a compliant VAT invoice, downloadable from your billing dashboard. EU reverse-charge is applied automatically for B2B customers with a valid VAT number (labelled per VAT Directive Art. 44). German Rechnung mit ausgewiesener MwSt., Italian Fattura elettronica via SDI, and French facture conforme TVA are all produced via Stripe Tax. Hungarian NAV e-számla submission is a manual step today — we provide the Stripe PDF; your treasurer files via Számlázz.hu or the NAV Online Számla portal.
What's the refund policy if my regatta gets cancelled?
Refunds are handled case-by-case — email [email protected] with your invoice number and the reason. If the regatta has not yet started, we typically issue a full refund. If it has started, refunds are pro-rated against tracked race-days. Weather-cancelled events: we can issue a credit toward your next regatta (credit-ledger keeps balances valid for 12 months).
Does Kwindoo take a cut of my entry fees or sponsorship revenue?
No. We don't process entry payments, we don't sit between the club and its sponsors, and we take 0% of any revenue you make. Kwindoo charges only the plan price you see on this page.
Can my class association run Kwindoo across multiple host clubs?
Federation contracts are negotiated case-by-case — we scope event count, member-club structure, and any custom requirements. Email [email protected] with your federation details (number of events per year, number of member clubs, any branding requirements) and we'll come back to you with a proposal.
